The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

Sessions for the iMoot are to be a maximum of 45 minutes long including question time.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Ed Tech: The Present, The Future, and What Matters?

Content Type: Online Teaching and Course Creation

Language: English and edu-jargon

Description of Presentation

Where is teaching and learning now? Where is teaching and learning heading?

From "coding" to "collaboration", "inquiry" to "innovation", "makerspace" to "metacognition".... Andrew takes a look at the trends in the "edu-sphere" and attempts to separate the "fads" from the things that really matter.

I don't purport to have all the answers! This is a sharing from my work and learning as an educational technology coordinator in a K-12 school. Join me and the iMoot community in trying to make sense of the ever-changing landscape of ed-tech!
